Workshop 2: Material Modelling

The box Exrecise.

One thing that I made was a shoe because I think it is very unique and it is very interesting object.

This is a section model of my dwelling. Actually I live in a town house, so I do not have a big house but it is very comfortable to live. The section is not big but it contains all of every part inside my house.

It just a photograph of the model in different angles.

This is the model that I should modify.

The second floor of the model.

The first floor of the model.
This is one part of the house that I was going to modify. I think the model has many straight lines and orthogonal shapes, so I decided to slice them into pieces and separated them. Moreover, I wanted to add linear wrapping to it, particularly curvy lines so it will have a balance.

This is the other part of the model.

This is the outcome of my final model. I think it is very interesting in term of shapes, colour combination, the balance, and the modoficatin of the building.

In my final model, I wanted to emphasize on the balance to the building. As you can see, there are many curvy lines and orthogonal shapes and it created very nice combination.

In this model, I use many types of materials, such as ribbons, wire, many types of different papers, and also the "lighting filter", which is very similar to tranparent paper which has colour in it.

In this final model, I also want to concentrate on the combination of the colour. I use the gradation of blue colour which I think very beautiful.
